Roughly, the average matriculant has about a 3.7 GPA and an MCAT score around 511 to 512. But those averages hide enormous variation, and DO and mission-driven schools regularly accept students below them. The numbers are a starting point, not a verdict.
Do not fixate on hitting one magic figure. Admissions committees read your whole application, and a strong upward grade trend, a compelling story, and real clinical experience can outweigh a lower stat.
